This indeed is something all of us should emulate. “

Our longstanding collaboration with Edudynamics, our training partner in the Executive Development Program, allows us to effectively integrate business theory with practice, enabling us to fulfil the requirements of the Education 5.0 paradigm that currently underpins Zimbabwe’s higher education policy. Together, we have successfully offered this important training not just to TelOne but to many other corporate organizations that treat with seriousness the need to innovate in ways that puts them ahead of their competition. “

Guest Of Honor Information Communication Technology and Courier Services Minister, Honorable Dr. J. Muswere in his Key Note Address said,
“As Government, we fully support all your efforts as we are aware of the value that human skills have as an economic enabler. Our country needs the leadership capacity with requisite skills to take the country forward and to attain the Vision of a middle income economy by 2030 as enunciated by His Excellency, The President Of Zimbabwe Dr. Cde. E.D. Mnangagwa. I am proud that TelOne through its strategic services has answered to the call by our President to participate in strategically developing our skills and translate our high literacy levels into high productivity to fully contribute our talents towards the growth of our economy.”

“The enrollment of the 22 graduands of the Executive Development Programme was influenced by an identified skills gap through interaction with our senior management. The programme was then specifically designed for our team graduating today to entail the following aspects: Servant Leadership, Personal Effectiveness, Thought Leadership, Influence, Creativity & Innovation, Decision Making, Planning, Solution Development, Opportunity Identification, and Execution. This programme is testimony to how the company empowers and supports its employees through such integrated learning experience. Further, TelOne being a technology organization which is currently undergoing digital transformation, requires employees with adequate education qualifications and necessary skills set. “
Africa University has a rich legacy of utilizing education to bridge the gap between industry and the education sector, allowing mutually beneficial relationships to flourish through such programmes as the EDP and contributing positively towards the development of the people of Africa.
